Until recently I despaired of trying to get a good picture of Archie – photographic sessions were impossible with a hyperactive child who didn’t understand how to sit, let alone look in the right direction and smile, and generally trashed any place we went to - particularly any place with interesting lights and buttons to press. I had decided not to try again, but a photographer was booked in to visit the Special Needs playgroup Archie attended and I thought ‘oh why not try once more?’. As soon as we went into the gym where the cameras were set up Archie sprinted over and started climbing wall-bars – far from being phased or impatient, Jerry just let me know I should relax, he would shoot pictures anyway and give Archie a chance to get used to the clicking of the camera. After a while, Archie decided it would be great to trash the area where the white curtain was set up, and the gorgeous pictures you see on this site were the result of (a calm and smiling) Jerry witnessing the destruction through his camera!
I wholeheartedly recommend Jerry Fenner Photography to anyone who wants a photographer, and particularly to those whose children who are hard to catch!
Jerry will make a donation to Archie's Appeal if you mention this site when booking.
